My name is Pauline (but everyone calls me P.) and I’m the founder and author behind all the quizzes and games on this website.

If you are here, I guess that means you want to know a little bit about me and why I created this quiz website.

Who Am I?

Why did I create Quiz Trivia Games?

I am crazy about quizzes. I love learning new facts and games so quizzes and trivia games were always my favourite things (at school as much as as an adult).

I go to my local pub quiz every week, I’ve hosted several pub quizzes as a quiz master in the UK and often organise trivia nights with my friends.

So, yeah… I just love it!

One thing I didn’t love though, is the fact that a lot of quiz masters would use the same questions all over again. I also find that they often were about the same topics.

And since I got to learn a lot of things during my travels around the world, I thought I should put together a quiz website.

I wanted this website to be helpful and unique. For quiz masters who organise trivia nights but also for people who just want to play and test their knowledge.

How do I create the quizzes?

I absolutely love creating quizzes and I spend a lot of time doing it.

I make sure that the questions are unique (of course, I also include some classic questions because they are important as well), I double and triple check all my facts and more importantly, I include facts that are interesting but that you can’t always find on the internet.

As mentioned previously, I have done a fair bit of travelling.

I lived in 3 countries (France, Australia and the UK), spent a great deal of time (as in, months) in other countries such as Spain, Italy or the USA and travelled in almost 30 countries as a visitor as well as a group tour leader.

Every time I go somewhere, I go on walking tours and chat with the locals. This has allowed me to learn a lot about each destination for the people who live there but also from official guides.

New York City, Havana, Lima, Sydney, Bangkok… here are just some of the places that I visited with official guides.

I also watch a lot of documentaries and movies about the places I visit but also other topics (mainly related to history).

I read a lot of books (at least 5 a month), listen to podcast, music and just have a big interest for general knowledge.

Finally, I ask questions! Everywhere I go and every time I meet someone, I ask questions about their domain of expertise. This allow me to have a better general knowledge, that I can then share with you and the quizzes.

It’s important to note that I use a lot of official sources to double check all the facts on the website. This includes Britannica, National Geographic and more.

What is the purpose of Quiz Trivia Games?

Honestly, just to have fun and be helpful.

I want you to be able to enjoy the games, which is why they are free. My picture quizzes (that I make myself as well) are also printable so you can use them for a pub quiz.

I also want them to be helpful. Feel free to use them for your own games!
